'Expatations' was the brainchild of an 'expat' Nerja based business man, Russell Hogg - founder of Hogtronix Ltd (web design and search engine optimisation). Hogtronix had been building websites for people in the area for a number of years and then realised that many of the clients had something in common - they were mostly all clambering for the same thing - namely a prescence (where they'd be noticed) on the Internet search engines like Google and Yahoo! etc. Problem was...how could Hogtronix help one, without disappointing another?
So, it made sense to provide a service for all Nerja businesses, not only those whose site's Hogtronix have built, to
promote their businesses en-masse using the SEO and Search Engine placement skills of Hogtronix.
Expatations registered as a Limited company in the UK in 2006
and all invoicing is from the UK company and because it's not yet legally required to register for VAT, all our invoicing is devoid of the tax at the time of writing (March 2008).
